Artists Statement. The focus of my practice currently, is on landscape and the natural world, capturing the essence and feeling of a place. My work is drawing based and in recent years I have found myself experimenting more with layering of colour, texture, and hand printed collage. I’m making expressive interpretations of the world around me, using colour and a variety of markmaking, that are drawn from observation and memory.
